Fundraising for the Pro-Am is critical to advance Baycrest’s importantl, ongoing research in the field of brain health and aging. Research plays a vital role in the battle against Alzheimer’s disease. For more than 15 years, sponsors, participants and donors to the Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s have actively invested in world-class Alzheimer’s disease research at Baycrest. With the COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately impacting vulnerable older adults, including those with cognitive impairments, Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, supporting this research is more important than ever. You’re part of the Pro-Am team and every position counts. Thanks for all your work in the fundraising corners!
Just because COVID-19 hit us from behind and put the Pro-Am on the injured list until next year doesn’t mean we don’t have some serious prizing for you as 2020 fundraisers! The refs might have put the whistle away on that illegal hit, but the league is still handing out kudos to everyone who worked hard in the off-season to get ready to play and wanted help our cause!
You can STILL fundraise and get in on the action. It’s not too late get on the board and receive a Tim Hortons gift card while making an impact for older adults and their caregivers. Don’t forget, while we may need to wait another season to play in the Pro-Am, vulnerable older adults in our community, their families and caregivers, all have to deal with the impact of COVID-19 daily. They can’t afford to wait. That’s why your commitment to fundraising for the Pro-Am is so important. Thank you.

All prizing from $1,000+ is cumulative.
Pay it forward
Your fundraising this year is also going to benefit you in 2021! Whatever you’ve raised in 2020 will be counted as additional CREDITS for Draft Night 2021. Meaning: you already have a head start on your team’s draft position for next year. It’s like you’ve been awarded a penalty shot and you automatically get the goal! Or something like that. You know what we mean.
